I can work solely for the client or as part of their wider team of Interior Designer, Architects, Builders & Landscape Designer. After two decades working at the forefront of the Interiors industry whilst based on the Pimlico Road, initially with Christopher Hodsoll, then in partnership with Patrick Jefferson before launching Rose Uniacke’s antiques business; I am accustomed to being brought into projects at all stages of the process and have wide interest and knowledge of the market as a whole.
VALUATION
Recent projects have included the total contents of an important 17th century castle in Scotland prior to its sale and the creation of an up-to-date illustrated inventory of the contents of a Paris townhouse.
I offer a discrete and educated sounding board; often advice will be not to sell or I might spot something that would potentially have slipped through unnoticed by a general valuer or indeed the family itself; a recent project saw many tens of thousands of pounds worth of furniture & sculpture avoid the skip and be slowly dispersed to appropriate buyers.
SOURCING
Whether Antiques or Twentieth Century design, I can source specific pieces or whole collections. 25 years in both the auction trade and as a dealer on the Pimlico Road, has resulted in a useful address book and knowledge of where to source.
